Each training session will last anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours.

We implement positive reinforcement training methods because not only are they the most humane, but also because countless science articles say it is the most effective way to teach dogs.
Using treats is only one method of reward for dogs. We try to refrain from treats as much as possible because there are other rewards that cause less demanding in dogs, like praise. Some dogs actually have more problems when you introduce treats into the mixture! It is our job to know how and when to best implement a reward system with a dog during training, so follow our lead during the session

Puppies are wonderful bundles of joy, but they definitely have a lot of personality. You can book a one-on-one session with us to learn what to look out for, how to practice the basic cues, how to decrease nibbling, and so much more.
If you are located in lower Manhattan then yes, we can come to you! If you are located in other areas of Manhattan it may be possible but you would need to call and book in advance.

Not every training method works with every dog. More commonly, not every teaching method works with every person.
A dog's success is not limited to just the training session. That is just the teaching phase- the work that the family puts into training is so much more important in the long run. These skills require practice and implementation into daily life. Without that, it is almost a guarantee it will fail

Yes! Though we do not sign off on dogs as service animals because that requires intensive training, we can teach you how to get your pet adjusted to traveling under seats and in bags
